A new era of Pulp Stories is here, brought to you by Neo-Pulps!

Some might read that statement and yell back at the screen: “But Pulp Stories never left! They’ve always been here and—”

Yeah, yeah, sure, that’s all good. But this new era of Pulp Stories is not just limited to the printed page or features only fiction about hardboiled detectives smacking around thugs and kissing femme fatales with jugs big enough to break their backs.

As fun as those stories are, Neo-Pulps! is going further into the realms of pulp fiction by jumping across different platforms.

Neo-Pulps! is not only publishing bestselling books in magazine format it’s also releasing web shows, music videos, and producing independent films ( like the vampire comedy “Onlyfangs” (2025), the slasher parody “Blue Murder” (2025) the mumblecore parody “Vick & Tarstar’s Scarecrow Factory” (2025), the zombie biker film “The Evil %1” (2025), the splatter movie  “Hellmare” (2026), and a classic ghost homage film “The Old House” (2026)), while also creating their own microbudget film: Melevill’s Tales From Hades.

All that sounds great, but let’s not forget about the fact that Neo-Pulps! is the only pulp fiction company that has ever unleashed a real shadow demon into the world.

Melevill the Demonatrix appeared after the Caribbean couple who created Neo-Pulps! were working on a ritual for the Hunter’s Moon on the night of October 17th, 2024.

The ritual was supposed to bring about good fortune for the company, but instead, the result was the summoning of a rage-filled, shadowy entity known as Melevill. This Shadow demon hijacked the couple’s plans for their company while enslaving them into a strict schedule of video producing, photo editing, and demon worship.

Not much is known about Melevill’s plans for the company. In addition to promoting her shows, Melevill’s Hades Theater, Melevill’s Interviews From Hades, and her short videos, she has promised to be the new horror hostess that this decade needs.

Upon closer examination, Melevill seems to be a classic Pulp Fiction character brought to life.

Her lore pays tribute to the mythology created by H.P. Lovecraft, while also emulating the acts of super villains like Dr. Fu Manchu, Professor Moriarty, and Doctor Satan.

So, it could be said that Melevill is the embodiment of a new era of Pulp Stories.
