Melevill’s Hades Theater premiered on Dec 21, 2024. The 1st episode featured Ed Wood’s noir-crime thriller “Jailbait”. Melevill’s roommate at the time, Bela Lugosi, sabotaged her first episode by tampering with the lighting and audio of the video, which forced Melevill to spank him with her heart-shaped crop off-camera.
Unlike most horror hosts, Melevill usually only appears at the beginning of the episodes. Introducing the featured film to viewers by “hyping the films up” and calling them “masterpieces”. After the intro, she’s hardly ever seen again until the next episode. There have been a few exceptions, though, like Episode 8 with Vincent Price, which showed Melevill appearing in a mid-segment to comment on the plot of “Souls for Sell” and to introduce her sister, Toripink.
Some fans believe that the reason for Melevill’s disappearances after the intros is so she can concentrate on feeding from the ‘shadows’ of her viewers.
Much has been said and theorized about the nature of Melevill’s demonic lore. She claims she’s a “shadow demon” and a “demonatrix”.
Shadow Demons are most commonly humanoid creatures with bat-like wings, created in pure darkness by ancient entities or by other equally powerful Archons. Their sole purpose is to propagate fear and hate, lowering human beings’ natural frequency so they can feed on their energy —AKA their souls or “shadows”.
The fact that Melevill is also a “demonatrix” suggests she likes to dominate her victims before feeding from them.
The question of what a shadow demon like her is doing masquerading as a “horror host” on a web show hasn’t been thoroughly answered yet. But clues found in the stories of Neo-Pulps! Issues #1, #2, and the soon-to-be-released Issue #3 point to a sinister conspiracy to bring about the destruction of life as we know it by the year 2054.
