Melevill vs the Esencia Project

Melevill vs the Esencia Project

The 1st Puerto Rican Horror Host, Melevill, recently joined a protest against the Esencia project. Melevill is a fictional Pirate Demon, but the Esencia project is a REAL Parasitical Demon.

This $2 billion luxury leviathan plans to destroy Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico (the hometown of the greatest pirate of the Caribbean, Roberto Cofresi) by building golf courses, hotels, a private airport, AI Data Centers, and fences to privatize public beaches, all while polluting the water and causing ridiculous amounts of environmental damage. They plan to start their destruction between 2027 and 2030. While you are struggling to pay your bills and taxes, the local government in Puerto Rico gave $500 million in tax incentives (deductions, credits, exemptions) to the already filthy rich backers of this project:

The Reuben Brothers and Three Rules Capital. All who have a long history of destroying towns in Hawaii, Mexico, Spain, and Russia with their ‘developments’.

(Act 60, the glitch that allows politicians in Puerto Rico to make rich people even more wealthy, has been extended to 2055 by the pig in chief Governor herself, Jenniffer González-Culón)

We did our own research, specifically reading more about the Reuben Brothers since their names always come up in connection with AI slop companies.

What these ‘individuals’ are planning to do in Cabo Rojo will affect us all. And we don’t mean just Boricuas or people living in Puerto Rico. The Reuben Brothers and their henchmen are buying land all over the world, leaving a massive trail of shady business dealings, scams, and what can only be called ‘pimp-like’ tactics. What else would you call manipulating, coercing, and exploiting vulnerable countries or markets for financial gain?

The Reubens made their first billion by taking advantage of the economic collapse of Post-Soviet Russia. And they’ve been keeping up that vulture tactic ever since: finding vulnerable countries, towns, or islands suffering from economic crises and investing in their real estate. They say the land is for future hotels or residential projects, but they forget to mention the AI Data Centers that suddenly pop up on all the lands they have bought.

( “According to the Sunday Times Rich List, the Reubens are now worth over £24 billion, ranking among Britain’s wealthiest, with a portfolio that spans global real estate, metals trading, data infrastructure, private equity, sovereign lending, and legacy assets rarely registered in public markets. They hold strategic positions in data centers, logistics nodes, and energy storage assets across the UK and Europe,” The Reuben Equation: How Two Brothers Quietly Became London’s Most Powerful Private Financiers. )

Here’s a list of the AI companies and Data Centers that the Reuben Brothers have invested in:

Global Switch 2007 – they sold their stake to Chinese investors in 2019, just as they were gearing up for the Crapencia project. But they still have significant investments in the physical infrastructure that supports Switch’s AI and web technologies.

Reuben Digital 2016- a UK-based technology company, it offers web development, hosting, and digital consultancy services.

hiSky 2019- an Israeli satellite communications company offering low-cost voice/data services.

EDGLRD 2024 – a digital IP-based studio that blends Artificial Intelligence Slop with entertainment, fashion, and gaming.

The Esencia Project is not just another ‘hotel’ in Puerto Rico. It’s a symbol of what most of us native Puerto Ricans have always suspected: Colonialism never ended. These so-called elites want ‘their’ Porto Rico,‘their’ Rich Port. They want the island without the natives.

Boricuas, especially in Cabo Rojo, have been struggling with power outages, water shortages, and the high prices for those essential utilities since Hurricane Maria. No one in Puerto Rico needs another hotel or more parasites pushing them out of their homes.

Seeing billionaires who have made their fortunes acting like hyenas and profiting from the rise of AI Data Centers, salivating at the prospect of getting their snouts deep into Puerto Rican land, is more than concerning. It’s terrifying.

“Water is the ‘new oil’ for data centers, particularly with the explosion of AI technology, which requires massive amounts of power and immense volumes of water for cooling. Just as oil was the critical resource for the industrial age, water has become the critical, and often limiting, commodity for the digital age,” (eesi.org).

In 2026, people in the U.S. are also experiencing the same problems that Boricuas have dealt with since 2017. Sudden increases in utility bills, undrinkable contaminated water, noise pollution, power outages, and unemployment.

(Our friend from Arkansas, Drake B. IG: @cat_from_ulthar, recently told us:

“We have an AI data center moving in here soon. They bought the land from a private citizen, so there’s no use protesting, even though some people did so twice at the courthouse. Most of the town has brown water, constantly ruining their clothes and appliances; they can’t bathe their kids or give them water from the sink. Even their animals won’t drink it. They assure us it’s safe, but anyone with eyes can see it isn’t.”)

These billionaires, their AI garbage factories, and the pig politicians who protect them are directly responsible for those problems. They all distract you into thinking that there’s a ‘race war’ going on, so you won’t realize that the only real war affecting us is a ‘class war.’ It is the 1% vs. 99%.

The best legal way to fight this war is by calling these so-called elites out on their bullshit. Protesting, both in person and online; telling others what’s going on (even making fun of them helps); and refusing to support their plans are among the best strategies we have.  Of course, Melevill, on the other hand, would just say: “Burning them all down to hell is the only strategy we have.”
