Melevill The Demonatrix

Melevill The Demonatrix
Neo-Pulps! Publishing LLC began as “a group of weirdos attempting to revive cheap pulp magazines,” or a “collective of fellow-minded individuals dedicated to supporting the community of all Pulp-horror-fantasy-bizarreness lovers”.
But lately, many people have noticed how a strange entity known as Melevill seems to have possessed Neo-Pulps! social media platforms, stories, and video/film productions.
At first, the whole thing seemed like a good parody. This “Melevill” persona came off as an angry fictional horror hostess, trickster character who appeared in the collective’s fan mail segments, social media posts, and YouTube videos starting in November of 2024.
Since then, fans have noticed how there is something off about this Melevill character. Her continuing storyline and dialogue are full of occult references and conspiracy theorists. The works of Joseph Campbell, Carl Jung, and even David Icke are often quoted. From what we can gather from the published stories on Neo-Pulps! Issues 1 and 2, and the many Melevill videos, she seems to be insinuating that she is a “shadow” being coming from the “collective unconscious”.
“I’m from Hades, the darkest part of human consciousness,” Melevill stated in a video.
“My mother is Nyx, daughter of Chaos and primordial goddess of the night. I am a shadow demon full of pure hatred, and I feed from your rage. I am exactly the kind of horror hostess this decade needs,” Melevill said in a recent interview on Fangoria magazine, while promoting her upcoming series of films “Melevill’s Tales From Hades”, her shows “Melevill’s Hades Theater” and “Melevill’s Interviews From Hades” (which all are planned to end in 2054), and her cameo in the novel “Melindra and The Damned.”
In Jungian psychology, the shadow represents the darkest, most primitive, and instinctual parts of the psyche. If she is feeding from our rage, then maybe that explains why she is fighting what she calls “AI scumbags.” It’s no secret that we’re all concerned about the rise of AI and how this can destroy art, music, and even films. So if we are all putting those concerns into the ether, Melevill will feed from it and react by unleashing the rage we are all suppressing.
This post may appear to be a rambling, stream-of-consciousness piece of writing. But if you made it this far, then you’re probably aware of what is happening and are picking up on the “Algorithmic keywords.” We expect to hear back from you by October 31, 2025. Keep an eye on that Melevill character. We suspect she will be dropping more clues soon.
